Pueblo Star-Journal
Pueblo, Colo., Oct. 25-Announcement was made Friday by the Pueblo Star-Journal that "it could not support candidates of the Non-Partisan league, which had obtained nominations in the primary election of the Democratic ticket for the reason that these candidates had previously been nominated at the state convention of the Non-Partisan league party; that they would have remained the candidates of the league had they not been nominated on the Democratic ticket and the principles and the platform of the Non-Partisan league are opposed to the principles and platform of the Democratic party on which they are now attempting to stand for the purpose of getting Democratic votes." read the statement printed on the first page of that paper.
