WILL PAVE STREETS.

Provo, July 20.—Two paving ordinances have been passed by the city commission, providing for street paving in districts Nos. 2 and 3. District No. 2 includes Center street between First East street and Academy avenue, and Academy avenue between Center street and First North street. The cost of the portion to be raised by local assessment is estimated at $7327.84, or $4.59 per linear foot of abutting property. Number 3 includes First West street between Center and First North streets. The estimated cost in this district is $3038.10, or $3.81 per lineal foot of abutting property. The commission will hear objections to the proposed improvements on August 10 at 10 o'clock in the rooms of the city commission in the courthouse.
