Man Freezes On Doorstep, Key In Hand
PHILADELPHIA (ANP) - Archie Parker, 34, was found by a passerby on his doorstep frozen to death. Parker, who had been intoxicated that night, was taken home by friend Robert Montague. His friend left him at the door with his key in his hand preparing to enter the house. He must not have been able to unlock the door. He fell to the floor and was not able to reach his landlady. An elderly lady saw him from her window but was not able to come to the door. She repeatedly tried to attract someone's attention by knocking on the window, but was not successful.
KEY IN HAND Saturday morning a passerby happened to see Parker, and when he went up to the door he discovered that Parker had his key in his hand.
