SANTA APPEARS AT CARPENTERS' YULETIDE PARTY

More than 800 persons, members of Carpenters' Union No. 264, their wives and children, crowded Germania hall, North Third and West Vine sts., to the limit Saturday at the Christmas party given by the union.

Santa Claus met all of the children present and presented them with gifts of candy, nuts, fruit and novelties in generous measure.

A program of entertainment was given.

Musical Club Plays.

The program was as follows:

Introduction: On Wisconsin, by the Carpenters' Musical club.

Community singing: Music by the club.

Christmas selections by Florence Hinkforth.

Thrice Welcome, song by June Kreutzfeldt.

Sidewalks of New York: Turkey in the Straw, and They Cut Down the Old Pine Tree, songs and dances by Beatrice Hernke, Marcella Cloth and Miss Hinkforth.

Piano and Vocal.

Voyagers. Mary Had a Little Lamb, and The Fairy Song by Robert and Audrey Beletsky.

Jolly Brothers and Wedding Reception: piano duet by William and James Kendall.

Vocal and piano selections by Theresa Bessy and Dorothy Mueller.

Recitation by Frank Beschka.

Harmonica selections by Howard Mueller.

Juanita and Old Folks at Home: songs by Lorraine Lemke and Ruth Rossman.

Sing Old Songs.

Oh, Dem Golden Slippers, and I Had Put 50 Cents; songs by Bernice, Ruth and Roy Tellier.

Dizzy Fingers; piano solo by William Kendall.

Violin and guitar selections by Doris and John Anderson.

Russian and Spanish dances and songs by Dewey Starkey.

Poem by John Heinricks.

The Santa Claus act by Santa Claus himself.

The committee on arrangements were John Anderson, John Mesenburg, Herman Kreutzfeldt, Charles Bartholomas, Herman Seide, Gustave Hafer, Anton Mueller and Adolph Larson.
