Day County Republicans Hold Their Convention to Elect Delegates.
Grand, O. T., April 5.—The Republicans of Day county held their county convention to select delegates to the territorial convention at this place Saturday. Every precinct sent its representation and a harmonious and enthusiastic convention was held. President Roosevelt, Governor Ferguson and Congressman McGuire were enthusiastically endorsed. The delegation was instructed to work in the interests of George W. Carr's candidacy for national delegate. At the conclusion of the convention the delegates met and decided to adopt the primary system of instructing delegates.
The following delegates were elected to the territorial convention: A. L. McRill, J. C. Wright, A. J. Bliss, L. A. Walck and D. G. Moore. D. G. Moore elected territorial committeeman for Day county.
