Railway Accident.

Chicago, July 1.—The south-bound passenger train on the Chicago and Eastern Illinois railway collided with the Grand Trunk north-bound freight near Kensington, 18 miles south of here last night, owing to a misplaced switch. The engine of the passenger train was wrecked and the baggage car telescoped into the smoking car, laming and bruising 19 people. Engineer Frank Hazen was caught in the wreck and will probably die from scalds and bruises. Jacob Kurges, United States Gauger living at Bloomington, this county, had both legs broken. He cannot recover.
