Republican Chief Sees Results as Very Gratifying
(By The United Press.)
Washington, Nov. 9.-Retention by the Republicans of control of congress in an "off year" election is "very gratifying". John T. Adams, chairman of the Republican National Committee, declared today in the first statement he has made since it became apparent the Democrats had went the country in Tuesday's elections.
Adams charged the Democrats with raising "fake issues" to befog the public.
He said the Republicans would continue to stand by the Harding administration program for the next two years.
