The Pleasant Grove M. B. Church Sunday School held its regular services Sunday. November 8, '59.
It was called to order by the Supt.
Subject of the Lesson "Supreme Allegiance To God" Acts 5:17-42.
Memory selection: "We Ought Obey God, Rather Than Man."
Acts 5:29. We had a wonderful lesson. The lesson was reviewed by the Supt., and everyone enjoyed it very much.
The Pleasant Grove M. B. Ch. visited the North Pleasant Hill M. B. Church Sunday. November 8, 1959 in their Singing Rally. They had a joyous time.
We have on our sick-list Sister Issabel Smith, who is improving suddenly. She has with her visiting in her home, her sister, Sister Pearling Delane, 3141 Washington Blvd, Chicago. Illinois. We also have on the sick-list, Sister Ida Grimstead, whose condition is improving, and sister Mamie Smith.
