The French have demanded a passage thro' the Territory of Liege for 2000 Militia, who are going to join Marshal de Contades.

Lampoons have been publicly made in the French Armies upon the Baton of Marshal of France being given to the Prince de Soubise for the Advantage gained by M. de Chevert, and which the Prince neglected to improve. It is thought more than probable the French will evacuate both Hanover and Hesse before they go into Winter Quarters, which will be on the Upper and Lower Rhine.
