Portsmouth, May 5, 1769.

Yesterday WYSEMAN CLAGETT, Esq; with his LADY and Family, embarked on Board the Brigantine Adventure, Ichabod Libbey, Master, for Bristol. This Gentleman has resided in this Province about Ten Years past, and sustained the Commissions of ATTORNEY-GENERAL, and an acting MAGISTRATE; which important Trusts he discharged with Fidelity to his ROYAL MASTER, with Satisfaction to the PEOPLE, and with much Honor to Himself.------ In the same Vessel goes Passenger Mr. SAMUEL SHERBURNE, Merchant of this Town.
