Small Pox and Diphtheria.

There have been several cases of Small Pox in the city during the past week, but I apprehend that the disease is confined entirely to one locality, and that there is very little danger of its "going the rounds." The Diphtheria, also, continues among children. W H. Barton, member elect to the Legislature, has buried both a son and daughter within the past week who died of this dreadful disease. It is attacking adults as well as children. The favorable change in the weather for the past day or two may check the progress of the latter complaint.
