Under Arrest

LOS ANGELES, July 15.—Martin A. Leach, President of the Leach-Biltwell Automobile Company was held in the county jail here today following his arrest on suspicion of embezzlement in connection with a "huge bunco scheme," police said.
According to investigators more than $2,000,000 was invested by residents of Southern California in a number of companies that Leach is asserted to have operated.
Leach was before the corporation commissioners in 1925 in a case involving $750,000 given him by Orange county ranchers.
