Another State Prize Winner

Dear Editor: We are subscribers to the Arkansas Farmer, and are very much interested in better live stock. We noticed on the cover page of the last issue pictures of some of the winners of the state fair.

We are also interested in better babies. And as the state champion is a farm baby we thought it might be of interest to your paper.

We are sending a picture of our ten months old boy baby, Orr Dewey Taplin, first prize winner in the state fair Better Babies Contest sponsored by the Junior League of Little Rock. He received the silver cup for the highest scoring boy or girl with a rating of 99.625 per cent. Also, medal in class for boys six months and under twelve months.

We formerly lived in Little Rock, but for the last ten months (all of the baby's life) we have lived on Rural Route No. 3, eleven miles north of Malvern. Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Taplin, Route 3, Box 99, Malvern, Arkansas.
