St. Mary's Parish To Participate In Labor Day Events

Several organizations of St. Mary's Parish will take part in Labor Day events, Rev. J. H. Johnson, S.J., told a Citizen representative today.

The Catholic Youth Club is busily at work on a float for the Labor Day parade. The National Catholic Community Service will also enter a float decorated by the USO NCCS Junior Hostesses.

Exhibits from the Parish Center crafts classes will be displayed at Bayview Park including shellcraft, under the direction of the Misses Gertrude Laubscher and Betty Johnson; drawings, under the direction of Miss Jean Morrison, and childrens' garments made by 11 and 12 year old girls, under the direction of the Mesdames Charles Yates and Carola Nettles.

The Kiddies Hour entry includes several vocal and dance numbers under the direction of Mrs. Elena McCoy.
