WANTS THE GUARDIAN
Dear Sir:

I would like very much to know the subscription rates for ordering your newspaper. I would like very much to be one of your subscribers, as I have heard so much about it being a leading colored aggressive paper that is very outspoken on all issues involving our race. That is the type of newspaper that fellows here are very much interested in reading in our library. We lack books on Race History. etc. . because most donors of books for our library are white and know little of the part colored played in American History. By ordering your newspaper we are able to pass it on to other fellows who are not able to order a subscription. Thanking you most kindly, I remain,

Respectfully yours,
THEODORE R. NELLONS
