Dan P. Danilov, Seattle lawyer and long resident of West Seattle, has been named vice chairman of the Veterans' Memorial Day Committee, it was reported by Osmund Blanchard, chairman.
Danilov, a former King County deputy prosecuting attorney, is active in veterans' affairs. He is junior vice commander of Seattle Post No. 1, The American Legion.
The appointment of Danilov was made to pull together a tightly-knit organization for the annual observance of Memorial Day. Others named on the Committee were Abe Bridge, commander of the Jewish War Veterans; Clay Nixon, past commander of Seattle Post No. 1; and Lee E. Lewis, past commander of Lewis Fort Post 289, V.F.W.
