Roland Hayes to Appear in Los Angeles

Roland Hayes regarded by many as the most tenor on the American stage will be presented at the Shrine Auditorium on December 8th under the direction of Merle Armitage. According to reports it will be the only appearance of the renowned singer on this trip to the Angel city.

Hayes has appeared in Los Angeles for a number of times and has sung in many houses and the historic Hollywood Bowl. When he is heard in the Shrine Auditorium he will be in the largest building of its kind in this city. Heretofore he has appeared before capacity houses and promoters are looking for the biggest one in the history of his numerous California invasions.

Internationally known tenor is now working on an opera based on his experiences and which will contain songs of the South. It is claimed that those melodies will be American.
