A series of sign up meetings were recently held throughout the county at township centers for farm owners and operators to make out farm plans and request approval of conservation and soil building practices they intend to perform during 1950. Payments earned for these practices will not be effected by corn or wheat acreage allotments but these farm plans must be signed before April 1. For the convenience of those who cannot come in during the week, the P. M. A. County office will be open on Saturdays during March.
