"It is with pleasure we have to inform you of the arrival of the English Brig Lucy Adela, burthen about 200 tons, coppered sheathing, carries ten guns, prize, to the Revenge. The Revenge had been out only eight days when she captured this vessel. She was bound from London to Surinam with dry goods and other merchandize, the particulars of which we have not yet been able to ascertain, but expect it will be of considerable value. This vessel was, in the first instance, captured by the General Armstrong privateer, afterwards retaken by an English letter of Marque and then taken by the Revenge."
