KEOKUK LEGION
LOOKS BETTER
As Other Posts are Organized Over the State the Number in the Local Post Makes Better Showing.

As new posts of the American Legion are added over the state the relative standing of the Keokuk post looks better, both as to the number of members and the time at which the post was installed.

The last charter granted in Iowa was number 108. The number of Keokuk post is 41.

Many of the posts are having some difficulty in getting as many as the required fifteen members to start a post. In view of that fact the sixty-five members of Keokuk post is considered a good showing.

A campaign for every ex-service man will be instituted here soon. At the conclusion of that campaign the local officers are expecting that Keokuk will stand near the top.
