Full Text
"Seven ships of war, with a fleet of twelve sail of large transports, sailed on the 27th from this port, under the command of Don Joseph Solano, and are bound to the island of Cuba first, where part of the stores are to be landed, and the remainder are destined for different ports on the Spanish Main, particularly to strengthen the works of Omoa, which was taken the last war by the English with a small force, although the works had been before deemed impregnable. These preparations, together with others which are now making in different ports of the Spanish West-Indies, afford much reason to believe that the Court of Madrid suspects a sudden attack in that part of the world."
