On Wednesday last was brought home to the house of Heaton Wilkes, Esq; in St. John's Square, Clerkenwell, the great copper bought at the sale of the old brewhouse belonging to Mr. Dickinson, in Chick lane, Smithfield, in lot 45, its weight was 7500 lb. on one side was wrote, "Wilkes and Liberty or ever;" and on the other, Number 45. It was drawn by seven horses, and in its way home, the dimensions being so large, the drivers were obliged to cut down penthouses and pull up posts, in order to make way for so unwieldy a machine.
