PARKING METER
Duard Edwards, a soldier stationed with Harbor Defense, Key West, was found guilty of breaking a parking meter by Municipal Judge Enrique Esquinaldo this afternoon and sentenced to pay a fine of $250 or spend 60 days in jail.
Edwards was arrested in the act of breaking the meter glass by Officer Frank Caraballo last night at Duval and Caroline streets, about 10:30 o'clock.
The City Commission last Tuesday refused to change the law requiring a $250 fine for breakage of the $1 glass in a meter.
