Battle Storm to Capture Honors
Bucking a snowstorm along 75 miles of mountain road, a 7-car caravan of Jacumba Troop No. 120 Boy Scouts traveled to Grossmont for area council court of honor and captured the area pennant for advancement record last week end, it was learned Tuesday.

Fourteen of 17 members of Troop 120 were presented with badges indicating their progress in scouting, 87 per cent of the Scouts making the required grade.
The pennant they brought home has been held during the past three years by El Cajon troop. It was donated by King Kauffman, area council chairman.
T. J. Hocgendyk is Jacumba troop Scoutmaster. Bill Cook, an Eagle Scout, is chairman of the Jacumba advancement committee.
