Japs, He Says
Full support for the Seventh
War Loan Drive is urged by Har-
old V. Feinmark, secretary-treas-
urer of the Conn. Federation of La-
bor. In a letter sent to all affiliates
of the Federation, Feinmark says:
"We of the Connecticut Federation
of Labor rejoice with all our Allies
on the passing of V-E day. How-
ever—as our President Truman, and
President Green of the American
Federation of Labor, have already
said—the war is only one-half won.
We must now concentrate all our
efforts to a decisive defeat of the
treacherous Jap.
"We are now in the midst of the
Mighty Seventh War Loan Drive
which must finance the undertaking
in the Pacific.
"Let us all now resolve to—1st—
hold the Bonds we now possess
and—2nd—to extend our financial
resources and make larger pur-
chases during the Seventh War
Loan Drive.
Let us further resolve to make
this the greatest drive in our his-
tory and bring this conflict to a suc-
cessful and final conclusion."
