In this town the arrangements adopted by the Town's Committee were carried into effect.
In Boston the day was celebrated with unusual splendor, and we learn, with a great degree of unanimity among the two political parties. In New-York a splendid procession was formed, in which was drawn by horses, a superb model of a line of battle ship, of exquisite workmanship, about twenty feet keel, and built in all its due proportions.
