All Things Making for Harmony and Success This Fall.
SARATOGA, July 29.-This has been a day of rest among the politicians. A politician who is in a position to know said to-day: "It is possible Gov. Flower will be here, for I understand it is almost certain that there will be a conference here Wednesday or Thursday. Lieut.-Gov. Sheehan will be here on that day, and in accordance with the ultimatum of Gov. Flower, that he will not run unless there is harmony in the party, I understand Smith Weed, the New York independent democrat, Mr. Bissell, of Erie, the Albany county democrats, and several other bolting divisions will be invited to confer."
Hon. Warner Miller said: "It seems to me very probable that Gov. Flower can dictate terms to the state leaders, because he is really the strongest man they can have."
