"Crow, Chapman, Crow!"

ANSWERED AT LAST:

"What has Governor Morehead done for the People?

We ask that the Register will quit these vague generalities, and give something like a detailed statement of the great things that Governor Morehead has performed, and leave it to the people to decide for themselves."

The above was our inquiry of the Register, some weeks ago.

It has taken a long time to answer it; but as the Governor was absent, we suppose his return was waited for. And what do you think the answer is? What has Governor Morehead done for the people? The Register answers, as if by authority, that the Governor has actually erected a "Hen House" upon the palace lot. Ye gods and goddesses!
