A letter from an American gentleman in London, says, "You would be astonished at the effect the energetic measures of our countrymen, has made on the Europeans. We were before pretty generally esteemed; -and now we are adored. The disclosure of the correspondence between our Commissioners at Paris, and the French powers, that ought not be; the Address, and spirited measures of our fellow citizens in various characters, together with the President's Answers, have been seed sown in excellent ground; and beneficial as they have been in our country, in Europe they have produced in some places thirty, in others sixty, and in others an hundred fold."
