UNION IN OREGON.—Before leaving for the East, Senator Harding, of Oregon, addressed the Union members of the Legislature of that State, in a speech which want of space forbids us from alluding to, as we would wish. He announced that his vote should always be cast in maintenance of the war and in support of the constituted authorities. He said that parties as of old constituted, on this coast at least, were obsolete, and that here there were and could only be two parties—patriots and traitors. Senator Harding, with Senator Nesmith, will nobly represent the gallant State of Oregon in the National councils. The Union party in that State has made for itself a more perfect organization, and it now presents such a front that overthrow is simply impossible. The influence of that State in California should be felt, and the ranks of the Union party in this State should close up and be in condition at the next general election.
