Full Text

The Circus to Aid the Hospital.

With a generosity peculiar to him, the large-hearted manager of the Crescent City Circus, steps forward to the relief of an institution which has since its completion been barred against the public, owing to an indebtedness which its promoters have found impossible to extinguish, and has tendered his talent to the citizens of Dallas for this afternoon, for the purpose stated. We trust our citizens will attend en masse, and thereby release the new city hospital from the fetters which have so rendered its provisions useless. Mrs. Noyes and other ladies will call on our citizens in person with tickets, and we feel that the response will be hearty and liberal, and the canvas consequently packed.
