GRANT RIVER
Miss Ina Fritz spent Saturday and Sunday at her home in Lancaster.
John Weisbenner shredded corn Saturday.
Albert Gatsch visited at the Chas. Plantz home Sunday.
Claire and Reuben Clifton are chopping wood for Frank McLean.
Three young men went hunting Sunday. One of them said his overshoes became too heavy, so he removed them hid them along the road down near the bridge. When they returned, in an hour or so, lo the overshoes had walked away. Now this young man says he can't afford to buy any more overshoes, so if any one sees those overshoes please tell them to walk back again.
Albert Blum went to Cassville Sunday to spend a few days.
Mrs. Joe Pendleton is staying with Mrs. Blum, while Mr. Blum is gone.
Homer and Harry Irish were callers at Chas. McLean's, Sunday.
Dan Hoffman and family and Edw. McLean and family attended church in Lancaster, Sunday evening.
John Joyce and family spent Sunday afternoon in Bloomington.
Henry Mankle took Sunday dinner with Chas. McLean.
