SHOCKING CASUALTY.—The Madison Express of the 2d inst., says:
"We are pained to announce the sudden death of James Rouse, an intelligent young man of our town, who came to an untimely end by the falling in of a sand-bank, where he had gone for the purpose of procuring sand. When removed from the position in which he was found, it was discovered that his neck was broken, which seemed to indicate that at the time the accident occurred. the young man was in a sitting posture. His death will be severely felt by a large number of friends, to whom his upright deportment had endeared him."
