New Officers To Be Installed At First Meeting In July; Elect Vice Commanders

D. H. Mauney, Jr., veteran of World War II, was elected commander of the David Milo Wright Post, American Legion, at the annual business meeting held last Friday night at the Legion Hut.

Vice commanders for the five county townships were elected, as follows: Lincolnton, Frank H. Crowell; Ironton, J. Boggs; Howards Creek, J. D. McLurd; North Brook, Worth P. Miller; Catawba Springs, Pat Goodson.

Harvey A. Jonas, Jr., was named post adjutant and Henry W. Rudisill finance officer.

The new officers will be installed at the first meeting in July.

W. Fitzhugh Hoyle is present commander of the Post.
