Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Darymple were dinner guests of Mary Brown Sunday.

Mrs. O. L Orr, of Cambridge spent the weekend with her daughter, Mrs. Jack Preece and children.

Mrs. Emily Havener and her daughter, Leatha, were in Columbus on business Thursday.

Dr. and Mrs. Glenn Taylor and Nellie Cunningham visited his mother at Macksburg Saturday.

Virginia Fogle, of Parkersburg, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Fogle, the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boyd, of Dexter City, visited Mr. and Mrs. Harry Weaver and Mrs. D. O. Boyd and son, Brent, Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lashley visited Mrs. Harriett Morgan on Sunday at the Rossiter home.

Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Triplett and children, Laguita, Terry and Kennie, and T. E. McElfresh, of Batesville, visited recently with Mrs. Retta McElfresh.

Blanche Patterson, who was called here by the death of Mary Horton, has returned to her home in Wheeling.

Mrs. Millie Rossiter is ill at this writing. Jennie Danford, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bode, Ruth McGinnis and a number of others have colds.

Haves Sutherland was in Caldwell Monday on business.

Mr. and Mrs. K. R. Rucker, who were called here by the death of his niece, Mary Horton, returned to their home in Newark Saturday.

Flora Oliver returned to her home here Sunday after spending a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Irene Smithberger at the Good Samaritan hospital in Zanesville.

Mr. and Mrs. Pearlie Snyder, of Newark, were visiting friends at Summerfield and Whigville the weekend.

Those who were in Caldwell Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Weaver, Mrs. D. O. Boyd and son, Brent, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Atkinson, Taylor Hague, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Wharton.

Charlie Wharton and Danford Wharton were in Woodsfield on business one day last week.

C. D. McKinney, of Columbus, visited over the weekend at his home here and with friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Otis King visited Mrs. Hidge King in Good Samaritan hospital, Zanesville on Sunday.

Those in Summerfield Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. George Craig, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Love, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Dotson, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Vandyne, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Horton.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Osborne, of Cleveland, visited the former's mother, Mrs. Amanda Osborne the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Garrett visited the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Moore Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wickham and Carl King visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gene King, of Ava, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Batten visited friends in Zanesville on Thursday and were accompanied home by Mrs. Thelma Fowler and Mrs. Vera Hughes and son Jimmie.
