Died From Eating Pork.

CHICAGO, January 10.--A special from Minneapolis, Minn., says: In the little German settlement of Waltham, Minn., there are 29 cases of trichinosis. A few days before Christmas, a man named Schick, slaughtered four hogs, a dinner was given to which 33 people were invited. Now, all but four of the guests are prostrated and the local physicians pronounce the disease trichinosis. A 10-year-old son of Mr. Schick has died and it is feared several of the others will not recover.
