Full Text

The French have lost the chief emporium of their American commerce, Charleston being now reckoned among the dependencies of the British Empire. It was from thence they imported to Europe large quantities of various sorts of merchandise, rice, indigo, &c. which will now find their way to England; and, what is still better, our British manufactures, will be exported thither, which is every way to the disadvantage of our enemies. It is expected the next blow will be struck in Virginia, which will prove the coup de grace to American power and credit.
