The Clothing Cutters Strike.

NEW YORK, March 27.—There was every indication this morning that the fight between the United Garment Cutters and the Clothing Association would involve the entire clothing trade. This would ultimately throw about 10,000 men out of work. Neither side showed the slightest signs of yielding and the Knights of Labor have entered the contest on the side of the Clothing Association.

James A. Wright, of Philadelphia, a member of the National Executive Board of Knights of Labor, to-day said:

"We intend to retaliate on the cutters for the manner in which they treated us in Rochester two years ago, when they filled our men's positions with their men. We intend to assist the association in every way and we can supply them with all the men they require."
