We hear from Natick, that about three Weeks since the Barn of Capt. John Coolidge was struck with Lightning, which tore out one Spar and did the Barn some considerable Damage. It also struck three Trees within 70 Rods of each other ; under one was a Cow belonging to Lieut. John Bacon, which was instantly killed ; it also struck a large Oak Tree, which stood in the Fence near Chestnut Pond, which was amazingly tore, tearing up the Fence, and splitting the Rails for three Lengths together ; the shower was not only attended with Thunder and Lightning, but Hail, which did some Damage to the Cornfields, Plants, &c.
