Full Text

BOSTON, December 24.

Tuesday last Capt. Lobdell arrived here in 12 days from Louisbourg, and informs, that the people in that garrison were in very good health; that the party consisting of the chiefs of the tribes of Indians, and head-men of the French inhabitants of Pictou, and places adjacent, which we mentioned some time ago to have arrived there, in behalf of the rest, to submit themselves to the British Government, had agreed upon some terms of submission, and were just ready to return from whence they came; but as there are no letters come in this vessel, we can learn no particulars.--Capt. Lobdell heard they were to come and surrender themselves next spring, and then deliver up all the Vessels they had taken from the English.
