M. L. Maupertuis, and the other Members of the Royal Academy of Sciences at Paris, who are upon their Journey to the North Pole, in order to discover the True Form of the Earth, arriv'd at Stockholm, the 21st past, and were graciously receiv'd by the King of Sweden, who order'd Celsius, the famous Professor of Astronomy, at Upsal, and Some others of the most learned Members of that University, to attend and assist them in this useful Enquiry; and the Governors of all the Towns thro' which they are to pass, are charged to do them the highest Honours, and give them all possible Assistance.
