A Model Law Suit.—The advantages of litigation are illustrated in the case of a school district in Cornish, N. H., against Ariel Comings for the recovery of an old broken box stove, worth probably from 50 to 75 cents.— The Court of Common Pleas, at Newport, last week gave a verdict in favor of the District, giving $1 damages. The verdict carries with it taxable costs amounting in all to more than five hundred dollars, to say nothing of the amount expended which cannot be taxed to the defeated party.
