Pedestrian Artists.—Yesterday Piper's Opera House troupe returned from their visit to Carson. Two members of it, however, Otto Burbank and Jimmy Moore, thought they would walk instead of riding on the construction train, so they struck out and footed it through by way of Silver City and Gold Hill to Virginia—distance 16 miles—in three and a half hours. That would not be considered bad time for even Weston, Rowell or any other of the great pedestrians to make. Jimmy is not so well muscled as Otto, but it is good muscle, what there is of it. He played baseball afterwards until evening, and neither he nor Otto seemed in the least stiffened about the legs when they appeared as usual on the Opera House stage in the 'Walk Around.' Three hours and a half from Carson to Virginia is pretty fair railroad time just at present.
