Lions Favor the Proposed Bond Issue

Inasmuch as a bond issue of $10,000.00 is to be voted on at the forthcoming election for the purpose of building a city hall building for fire department and other city use, with a view of this being the first step in improving our fire equipment and reducing fire insurance rates, we the members of The Lions Club of Ordway go on record as being favorable to this plan. We urge that the tax-payers of Ordway vote these bonds and that the City Officials see that a suitable building is erected.

Further, that should the bonds be voted, the City Officials proceed at once to acquire a proper fire truck; one that will pass every requirement of the Rocky Mountain Underwriters' Association.

Further, that a copy of this resolution be given to both newspapers of Ordway for publication.

THE LIONS CLUB OF ORDWAY,
By A. C. HENRIE, President.
M. H. HASSTEDT, Secretary.
