SAVANNAH, MAY 16.

Col. John L. Hopkins, who, in the spring of 1819, had an affray with Mr. McQueen McIntosh, at Darien, in which Mr. McIntosh was killed, and who was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to three years imprisonment in the penitentiary, but escaped by the connivance (as was supposed) of the Sheriff, yesterday arrived here from Liverpool in the ship Georgia. Immediately upon his arrival he gave himself up to the custody of the Sheriff of this county. It will be remembered a reward of $500 was offered by the Governor for his apprehension.
