The Court has sent Orders to all Officers who are absent from their Regiments to repair immediately to them. An Express has likewise been dispatched to Cadiz, with Orders for the six Men of War fitting up there, to sail with the utmost Expedition for the Havannah. Some Advices from the Frontiers are, that the English have reinforced the Garrisons of Port-Mahon, and Gibraltar; and that they expected in a short Time a great Quantity of Provisions and Warlike Stores from London; yet, notwithstanding all these Appearances of War, several People doubt whether the English will come to a Rupture with Spain. Mr. Keene, the British Minister at this Court, has presented two fresh Memorials concerning the Spanish Depredations; and the Answer which he is to receive will decide the State of Affairs between Great Britain and Spain.
