Letters by the last Corunna mail, give an account of an action between a Spanish 74, and the Brest division of six sail of the line, under Rear-Admiral de Renaudin, the late Captain of the Vengeur. The particulars are, that the Spanish ship cruising, fell in with the above squadron, was chased and maintained a running fight with two of the enemy, until she got under shelter of a Spanish fort, which the French attacked; but after several hours cannonading, the French Admiral made the signal, and hauled off, much damaged.
