MELANCHOLY DEATH. --The Prattsville. (Ala.) Southern Statesman, contains the following, which is but another instance of the danger attending the pernicious and filthy habit of dipping snuff:—
"Died, on Tuesday evening, the 16th inst., in Prattsville, Mrs. Mary S. Glenn, wife of Wm. Glenn.
"The cause of the decease of Mrs. Glenn, in the prime of early womanhood, was the intemperate use of snuff. We hope those who are in the habit of indulging themselves in the use of this unhealthy article will take warning from the early death of this unfortunate lady."
