Gymnasium For The Insane.—The Stockton Argus says: A canvas pavilion has been erected upon the grounds of the State Insane Asylum, accessible to the patients, in which all the paraphernalia usually found in a well regulated gymnasium have been provided. The floor is laid with tan, seats are erected around the pavilion, and everything added that can offer inducement for gymnastic practice. In the centre of the yard is a circular swing which seems to be a favorite means of amusement among patients.—The work of erecting this gymnasium has been principally performed by the inmates of the Asylum.
