CLERK OF COURT EXPECTS NUPTIAL BOOM IN JUNE

Roosevelt county women have just one month left to redeem themselves with County Clerk of Court Guy A. Miller. The month is June and the year is leap-year, but marriage license applications have been limited, according to Mr. Miller.

"It's the womens' fault," complained Guy Tuesday afternoon, as he reported only one marriage license granted for the month. "This is leap-year and they aren't doing anything about it."

As cupid's right hand man in the county, Guy is counting on June, the month of brides, to bring his yearly average up.

A marriage license application was granted in the Clerk of Court's office May 21 to James Lewis Keil, Nashua, and Geneva Mae Frieberg, Nashua.
